No shit, she isn't real. Thanks for pointing out the obvious. I personally don't identify as a "waifuist" as the word "waifu" has been used to demean real women and fetishize Japanese women. I also don't particularly identify with "fictosexual", either, but I am on the aro/ace spectrum. I'm just someone who is in love with Test Tube. Although I don't crave a real relationship, I do hope to get into one, and hope my partner loves and respects my love for fictional characters. But I don't see that happening anytime soon. Right now, I'm very happy with all my f/os (yeah, Test Tube isn't the only one, I have plenty more!) and I don't see that changing.
You obviously didn't read my first paragraph. I do NOT crave a real relationship at all, but I wouldn't mind getting into one. HOWEVER, real relationships have always been hard for me. Due to mental health, I've been dumped more than once. I never really got into stuff like Tinder, often downloading and deleting it on a whim. See, with dating a fictional character, I don't have to worry about that. Test Tube won't dump me, she won't judge me, she won't cheat on me. Why? She's not real. Besides, I'm demiromantic, so it's not like I fall head over heels for a real person just by looking at them. I guess you can say I've never really understood real relationships? I don't know, all I know is I'm not good at them and until someone like Test Tube comes into my life I ain't changing!

1) What's the first reason that comes to mind when you think about why you love your f/o?
I love her intelligence and nerdiness! Test Tube may be your stereotypical nerdy character, but I've always had a soft spot for nerds, sue me. I feel like she'd always let me infodump about my favorite things, and she'd share all her interesting facts she's learned with me!
2) When you and your f/o first get together, how do you act towards each other in terms of affection? is it awkward? does it come naturally?
Neither of us are very good at being social. It was very awkward in the beginning, starting off with gentle hand-holds and sitting close to one another. Not even kissing really, only if we were alone. Even then, it was small cheek kisses and nose rubs.
3) What song makes you think of your f/o?
She Blinded me With Science by Thomas Dolby! Quite an obvious pick, but I don't care. Science rules.
4) Do you enjoy your f/o's source material?
Yep! I love Inanimate Insanity! Test Tube isn't my only f/o from there either, I also f/o Clover, MePhone4, and Paintbrush. They may get their own page sometime, too! My other favorite characters are Balloon, Suitcase, Tea Kettle, Lightbulb, Fan, Floory, and Bot.
5) How fast do you two take your relationship?
Not very fast at all. We both wait everything out until we mutually agree on something we want to do.
6) Her favorite flavor of ice cream?
I don't see Test Tube being crazy about ice cream in general. But I think her favorite flavor would be Superman, she thinks it's interesting that is has a flavor, but not one describable like chocolate or vanilla.
7) If you were to introduce your f/o to a video game you think they would like, which one would you choose?
I think Test Tube would like Minecraft, mostly the building and redstone elements of it. She's fascinated with making redstone machines! Test Tube would also like games like Starfield and Fallout, she'd spend HOURS exploring the big and vast worlds.
